| The goal of this project was to develop a base set of data in GIS to use for preliminary planning and development efforts. The Scott property is located in Douglas County just north of Castle Rock. Base data including orthorectified aerial photography was purchased from Douglas County. In addition, the conceptual plan from an outside landscape architecture firm was digitized from hardcopy to usable GIS layers. The entire project was compiled in Arc Explorer and installed on the client's computer. The base digital information, collected and viewable in a common geographic space, will be very valuable for future planning and engineering efforts. | |
